Estella is raised by Miss Havisham from the age of three, she is taught to be cruel towards men and "break their hearts". Pip falls in love with Estella by practicing being deliberately cruel towards him. Estella is cold and controlling. Miss Havisham removes her ability to feel emotion and to interact normally with others. Like Pip Estella is an orphan and a victim. Estella is honest person as she tells both Pip and Miss Havisham that she cannot love.
